video Journalist (shows) INTERN
The role
The Production Intern will be carrying out production work for Our Grandfather Story’s video production. We’re seeking a creative-minded individual who is passionate about video production.
The ideal candidate is interested in learning every part of the creative process, including generating ideas for a variety of formats. Candidates should also be proactive workers who are motivated and independent.
Responsibilities
Camera and grip work shooting in studio or on location.
Production assistance for shoots.
Produce, shoot and edit videos for social media publications.
Handle uploads through our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube publishing processes.
Research and pitch relevant content ideas for production.
Assist with file management, footage and assets organization.
Requirements
Familiar with videography work - experience with camera handling.
Interest in telling local stories, documentaries and explainers.
Detail oriented and organised.
Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
