Video Intern (阿公故事)

The role

阿公故事 是UNFOLD ASIA旗下一家媒体公司，致力于挖掘分享东南亚一带历久弥新的民情故事。我们希望通过真实坦诚的故事讲述，探索该地区的人文社会，凝聚东南亚人并给予启发。

The Video Intern (阿公故事) will create custom content for OGS’s Chinese vertical - 阿公故事. We’re seeking a creative-minded producer who is passionate about both digital media and native advertising. Candidates should be interested in what makes someone share and how people communicate online.

The ideal candidate is interested in learning every part of the creative process, including generating ideas for a variety of formats, mainly Tiktok, Facebook and YouTube. Candidates should also be proactive workers who are motivated and independent.

Responsibilities

  • ​Research and pitch relevant Chinese content ideas for production.

  • Produce, shoot and edit videos for social media publications.

  • Handle uploads through our Facebook, Tiktok and  YouTube publishing process​es.

  • Write social copies for publication.

  • Misc. grip work, production assistance and shooting in studio or on location.

  • Assist with file management, footage and assets organization.

Requirements

  • Bilingual (knowing dialect is a plus).

  • Familiar with Premiere Pro (After Effects, Photoshop and Audition a plus).

  • Ability to shape a story through editing.

  • Experience with camera handling.

  • Interest in telling local stories, documentaries and explainers.

  • Detail oriented and organized.

  • Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
