assistant producing INTERN (STUDIO)

The role

As an Assistant Producing Intern, you will work closely with our experienced production team to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for filmmaking and a desire to learn the ins and outs of production management.

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating and managing logistics for documentary/unscripted/corporate projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Script Analysis: Work closely with the creative team to analyse scripts, provide feedback, and contribute to the development of production plans.

  • On-Set Support: Participate in on-set activities, ensuring that production runs smoothly by coordinating with various departments and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

  • Communication: Facilitate clear and efficient communication between different departments, crew members, and external partners.

  • Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the production team, including organising documents, maintaining databases, and managing schedules.

  • Location Scouting: Assist in the process of scouting and securing suitable locations for filming, ensuring all necessary permits and permissions are obtained.

  • Casting: Assist in the audition process, including liaising with talents and crew.

  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure necessary equipment, props, and other production-related resources.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree/diploma program (e.g., Film & TV, Production Management) or a recent graduate.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with an ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of initiative, accountability and responsibility.

  • Basic understanding of production processes and workflows.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
