The role
UNFOLD Asia is an independent media group that seeks to entertain and educate Southeast Asian audiences through creative storytelling. We reach over 10 million viewers monthly through our digital media brands including OGS, nOm and Ribbit.FYI, and our creator collective UNFOLD Creators.
As a Lead of the Business & Partnerships team, you will be overseeing a team that manages paid/sponsored content across our media brands, and executing the overall commercial strategy for UNFOLD Asia.
We’re seeking a well-rounded individual who can uphold the company’s profitability and further our position in the regional media landscape.
Responsibilities
Lead a team that acquires and manages paid projects across UNFOLD Asia; ensuring revenue targets are achieved
Seek active and meaningful partnerships with industry stakeholders and sponsors to further the commercial interests of the company
Work with internal stakeholders to review and ensure long-term competitiveness and saleability of our media offerings under UNFOLD Asia
Requirements
Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of work experience, with experience in media/advertising sales. A strong agency/client network in the local and regional space is desired.
You should have strong sense of what makes a good story, deep interest in sponsored content creation and be familiar with what our media brands stand for
Strong interpersonal, communication and business judgement skills to synergise opportunities
Be a nurturing presence to support team members in their career development
